With Ella you start a collaborative video project in minutes: you describe the idea, Ella delivers the finished recording plan for your team.

1. Describe your video

  1. Open Assistants and switch to the Ella tab.

  2. Describe in the input box which video you want to create and with whom. Via Add you can upload a document as context, for example a briefing.

  3. Choose the format (for example 16:9 or 9:16) and optionally the Tone.

  4. Start Ella.

2. Review the recording plan

Ella creates a content request: a description for contributors plus individual recording requests as scenes, each with a title, format and target length (for example Quick 15 to 30 seconds or Standard 30 to 60 seconds). Here you can:

  • rephrase, reorder or delete requests

  • add more scenes via Add recording request

  • attach a script per request via Add script

3. Record a briefing video (optional, recommended)

Via Record video you record a short personal video message that contributors see before their recording. It lowers the barrier noticeably and boosts the response rate.

4. Create the project

Click Create project at the top right. From here you collect your colleagues' recordings and Ella assembles the video. You can refine the final cut in the editor at any time.
