Different languages are available for you to choose from for subtitling your videos after you have completed the final rendering of your video.
Important! In the first step, please ensure to select the spoken language of the video to create a successful transcript.
Create transcript
Click the Subtitles tab next to Video to get started.
First, a transcript will be automatically generated from your video. Trigger the creation of the transcript by pressing Add subtitles.
A window will open asking you to choose the spoken language in the video.
Confirm your selection with Create subtitle.
A card with the selected language is created and the transcript is generated based on the audio track of the video.
Edit subtitles
After the first draft of the transcript has been created automatically, you can view and adjust it. To do this, click Edit on the card.
A new window opens and shows you a preview of your rendered video with subtitles on the left side. Use the preview to help you revise the transcript.
On the right side of the window you can edit the transcript, it is divided into two-line subtitle blocks with timestamps.
Click directly in the text to customize it.
When you have finished editing your subtitles, click Save at the top right of the window. This is important because otherwise your changes will be discarded. You cannot save or render the subtitles if error messages appear in the edit window.
You can close the editing window at any time by clicking on in the upper right corner. Your changes will only be saved if you click on Save in the upper right corner.
The window will then close and you will be returned to the subtitle page.
Render subtitles
To embed the subtitles in your video, click Export Video. Your video will be created with the subtitles.
As soon as the video with your subtitles is finished, it will be available for download on the right side of the card.
If you want to delete the subtitles of a certain language, you can do it using the
โthree dot menu in the respective card.
Important!
If you make changes to the original video and, for example, shots are shortened, you may also need to adjust the subtitles. Render the original video again first, then go to the subtitles, and only then save and render the subtitles with the new adjustments.
Add more translations
After the transcript is automatically generated, edited and all changes are saved, you can add more translations.
First select another language for which you want to create a translation with the Add translated subtitles button. Confirm your selection with Create subtitles.

๐กThe starting point of the translation is always the transcript in the first card. Therefore, make sure that you are satisfied with the transcript.
โThe translation will be generated automatically, as soon as they are ready, the Edit button will appear.
Check the subtitles and confirm your changes by clicking Save.
Click Export Video to embed the translation as subtitles in your video.
