Good videos need good material. In cofenster you have two libraries directly in the editor: your own Media library with reusable assets and the stock library with royalty-free images and videos.
The Media library: your own assets
You find the Media library on the left under Brand kit. Upload images and videos there that become available in every project of your account, for example b-roll, product shots or logo animations.
Upload: in the Media library tab, one file or several at once.
Organize: Click an asset to rename, download or delete it. Good names make searching easier later.
Use in a project: In the editor, open the Video or Image tool and switch to the Library source. Search for the asset and add it.
The stock library
No fitting footage at hand? In the editor, open the Video or Image tool and switch to the Stock source. Enter a search term and add the right asset. Stock material behaves like your own on the timeline: move, trim, crop, all possible.
Note: The stock material is licensed for use in your cofenster videos (Pexels license).
Frequently asked questions
Does deleting an asset from the Media library affect my projects?
No. Scenes and elements in projects stay unchanged; there is no dependency on the original in the library.
Who can manage the Media library?
Users with the Admin or Publisher role can upload, rename and delete. Editors and contributors can use the library; translators have no access.
What does sorting by popularity mean?
The most used assets appear at the top, the least used at the bottom.
