Text elements and lower thirds

How to add text in the new editor: ready-made, branded text styles like lower thirds and text blocks, editable directly in the preview.

Text elements bring names, titles and messages into your video, automatically in your brand's design. The new editor works with ready-made text styles; you only fill in the content.

Adding text

  1. Open the Text tool at the bottom.

  2. Pick a style, for example Lower third (the classic name and job title overlay) or Text block for standalone statements.

  3. Fill in the fields, for the lower third for example Name and Job title.

  4. Click Add text. The text element appears as its own track on the timeline.

Positioning and timing text

Move and scale the text directly in the preview on the right. On the timeline, drag the element to where it should appear and stretch it to the length you want, across several scenes if needed.

Several texts at once

You can add as many text elements as you like; each gets its own track. That way you can combine a lower third with a quote block in the same scene.

Note: The text styles automatically follow your Brand Template (font, colors, animation). All videos stay consistent, no matter who builds them.
