Milo helps you turn long videos into short, punchy highlight clips. Milo will work best for long video with lots of talking.

  1. Milo understands what he can hear". If your video has only visuals or music without spoken content, he won’t be able to generate meaningful highlights.

  2. Milo tries to create at least 10 highlights per video, but this depends on the number of topics available. Milo can pick from more content in longer videos.

  3. Milo will, by default, find the most interesting, viral clips. You can make Milo more effective and accurate by adding your own focus topics as a prompt.

Prompting Tips

1. Be specific
The more clearly you describe what you want, the better Milo can deliver. Avoid general terms like “the best parts” or “interesting clips.” Instead, give a theme, goal, or topic.

✅ Example:
“Company values, company culture"

🚫 Less effective:
“Best moments from the CEO"

2. Think about your audience
Use your prompt to guide Milo on who the clips are for and what they’d find interesting. Whether new employees, or your external people — framing the prompt with the audience in mind helps Milo focus on what matters.

✅ Example:
“Insights and learnings which will excite marketers"

🚫 Less effective:
"Cut out the boring parts."

3. Clip durations

Milo doesn’t always respond well to precise clip durations. Instead of asking for "2-minute clips", try giving a range or a preference:

✅ Example:
“All clip durations must be less than 30 seconds in length."

🚫 Less effective:
"Give me 30 second clips."
