The Media Library feature allows you to seamlessly store, manage, and apply your own media assets to projects, making your video creation process more efficient and organized.

Here’s a quick guide on how to use it effectively

Upload Images and Videos

The Media Library is found in the the Brand kit section of the side navigation. From the media library tab, you can upload 1 or more images and videos at a time to the library.

Organize the Media Library

You can update the names of your assets in order to make them easier to sort and search for later. Click on and individual asset to open a details popup. Here you can update the asset name, download the asset, or delete it from your library.

Using Media Library assets in projects

You can add assets from your media library to scenes in your project, or as overlays in the editing section. Similarly to the cofenster stock footage feature, you can search for images or videos to add.

FAQs

Will deleting an asset from the media library affect my projects?

No, there is no dependency between where the asset is used and the original asset in the media library. The scenes and assets in projects will remain unchanged.

Who can manage the media library?

Only users with the role of Admin and Publisher can manage the media library, meaning they can upload, rename, delete etc. Users with Editor or Contributor roles can access and apply media library assets to their projects. Translator users cannot access the media library.

What does sorting by “popular” mean?
Sorting by popularity simply means that the most used assets from your media library are at the top of the list, and the least used assets are at the bottom.
