Save any project as a template to reuse it and save time for you and your team.
Your cofenster account comes with some project templates created by cofenster, but you can also create and save your own.
Create and Save project templates
There are 2 ways to create a project template in cofenster. You can click the project menu dropdown to “Save as Template”. The other method is to create a project template from scratch, in the project templates page. When saving a project template, you will add a title and description which can help other understand more about this project template and how best to use it.
Editing project templates
Editing a project template is just like editing a project. You can by edit scenes, designs, request questions, and music to your satisfaction. A banner is shown at all times as a guide. Once you are done editing the project, you may want to “Export” it to update the video shown in the preview to other users.
Using project templates
When you create a new project, you can start from scratch or select a project template. By clicking on a project template, you can quickly preview it along with a description, before deciding to use it. If the project template video is exported, this video appears in the preview to best display the final results.
Best Practices for your project templates
In order to get the most for you and your team, we suggest:
Add lots of example content in the template, such as scene notes, text elements, overlays, music etc. It is easier to remove example content, than to create without a clear example in mind.
Export the video to highlight the final result. This helps your teammates discover what the final result should look like. You can always remove unwanted content after this export to clean up the template which won’t affect this exported video.

Who is able view or edit project templates?
Anyone with Admin, Publisher, or Editor roles in your account can update project templates.
What happens if I delete a project template?
The project template will be removed an no longer accessible for anyone in your account. This will not affect any of your existing projects.
