Enhanced Variety: Our previous music tracks have been consistent over the years, and now we want to spice things up by offering more dynamic and engaging options.
Improved Licensing and Providers: We are changing our music providers and licensing agreements. This shift will not only allow us to offer better music but also improve music customization options in the future.
How does this affect new projects?
As we transition to our new music library, here’s what you need to know for your upcoming projects:
Selection of Music: Try to avoid selecting legacy music tracks for new projects to make the most of our enhanced library which will be available throughout May 2024.
Exporting Projects: You can continue to export any projects with the old music without any issues until 31 May 2024, after which time the tracks will not be available.
How does this affect my older projects and existing videos?
Here’s how your existing projects will be impacted after the transition period:
Completed Projects: Your previously exported video files will remain unchanged. You’ll have the same download and access capabilities as before.
New Exports: For new exports, only the music tracks that are currently available in our library can be included. If a track from your project has been removed, you will need to select a new one from the available options.
Unavailable Tracks: If a track is no longer available (from 31 May 2024) and you attempt to export your project, the export will proceed without any music. You’ll need to choose a new track to include music in your video.
Do I still have the right to use my old videos with the legacy music?
Absolutely! You retain the right to host and use your existing videos that include legacy music, even if those tracks will no longer be available in our library after 31 May 2024.
