Text elements are visible for every scene card in the editing section such as videos, image, colored background or a screen recording.

To get started, there needs to be a scene card already added. When editing the selected scene card, select “Add elements” from the toolbar at the bottom.

This will open up the Elements editing interface. Then click on “Add text”, you will be able to select different design options available, both the standard and the customized designs.

Selecting any of the available designs opens up the box to enter the text. The text fields have pre-built character limits to ensure the look is clean on the scene card. All text fields need to be filled however different designs are available to ensure different types of text content fits perfectly.

Click on “Save”, you will see a text bar generated on the timeline.

The default duration of the text element is set per template or as programmed in the design template.

To add another text, simply move the timestamp to a new position on the timeline, and click on “Add text” to repeat the process.

Once set, these changes can be previewed immediately from the player.

Now you can adjust the duration of the texts by reducing or prolonging the text bars; or drag and drop the bars to reposition them.

The texts can be altered or deleted at any time by clicking on the text bars.

These text elements will be designed into the video while rendering. This is different than adding different language subtitles to the videos.

Note: The minimum duration of a text element is one second. Make sure to keep the text element long enough so that it plays through both the in- and out-animation if applicable.
